The 1841 built town-hall reopened in 2016 as a leisure complex - the result of a £36M project to revive the building which additionally created a new public space, 'Parliament Sq' alongside in place of the old Bus Station. The town-hall is now home to a stunning new Odeon Cinema, Molino Lounge, Costa, and Nando's, all housed within the Grade II listed heritage building and it's modern extension.
An additional feature added in front of the former Town Hall in 2019 was the statue of Oldham suffragette Annie Kenny.
